Achievements
Pursuant to the objectives, the Foundation has undertaken and accomplished its objectives in different fields in addition to 'Gokul' such as:
The Foundation helps other Institutions and agencies to take up meaningful activities in the fields of Childcare, health, sanitation, etc.
The Foundation directly runs 2 Homeopathic Charitable dispensaries in Bangalore (South India) and B.R.Hills - very backward Tribal area.
The Foundation has helped in the reconstruction of village called "Suddamadugu" in Chittor District of Andhra Pradesh State in South India.
The reconstruction of village consists of :
Community Centre
Health Centre
Houses
Community Childcare Centre
School, etc.
The villagers contributed their personal labors whereas the Foundation provided the financial support. The project was implemented in association with "Village Reconstruction Organization of India" "Ein Dorf für Indien, Elisabethenanlage,9 4051 Basel".
The Foundation extends financial assistance to Tribal Welfare Centre called Vivekanand Girijan Kalyan Kendra at B.R.Hills in Karnataka State in Southern Part of India.
The Foundation has actively supported Child Welfare Centers in India such as Guild of Service, Madras Friend-in-need Agmore, Madras Asha Sadan Resue Home, Mumbai Dr. M.K.Mani, Kidney Help Trust, Madras Indian Association for the Promotion of Adoption, Mumbai, etc.
The Foundation also extends help to the needy and deserving individuals to meet medical expenses such as Kidney Transplant, Heart Operations, Eye Care, etc.
The Foundation supports mid-day meals scheme for a local Nursery School in a very backward locality of Karwar to encourage children from poor families to come to the school and thereby kindle their interest in formal education.
The Foundation extends help to different Social Organization to take up Health Service Camps such as Eye camps, Blood donation camps, Health check-up camps, etc. in rural/backward areas.
It seeks participation and help from like-minded people/organizations in creating greater base for the Foundation to give a true shape and substance to the objectives envisaged.
